Auditions

Last week we began our auditions which will finish this Friday. We will soon know who is going to be Romeo, Juliet and the other characters.

Our Musical- Romeo + Juliet

This year's musical is an adaptation of  William Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet' set in today's Barcelona. 

I began to write this musical last year and the story came to life without me even noticing. I turned Romeo into a Filipino boy who lived in Raval while Juliet became a rich girl from Bonanova. They fell in love and well...you all know the story...

The soundtrack is a mixture of very famous pop and hip hop tracks seasoned with some beautiful soul songs and classical music pieces. As it happens in every musical, the songs are a very important part of the script as well as the dances and choreographed scenes.

The actors are mainly students of 2nd ESO of school Immaculada Concepció. The crew is formed by approximately 15 students but it keeps growing! The play will be premiered in mid-June 2013.

Our rehearsals take place every Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. We will schedule some open rehearsals throughout the year. We will duly inform you about the dates.
